Whether sitting cross legged or on a chair the main thing is to ensure that no part of your body is in contact with the floor. Place a meditation blanket on the floor first and then place the meditation cushion on top. Sit comfortably, but ensure the spine is straight as this aids tremendously in the flow of energy up and down the spine.
